CMBA Trail Day 3 is this Saturday, July 10th!  Along with members of Pink Pedals, you are welcome to join other CMBA members and volunteers for a day of trail maintenance, good conversations and a post-work picnic.

Details:

CMBA, working closely with the City of Calgary, Bowmont Park Committee, and IMBA Canada will build a new singletrack reroute at Waterfall Valley. This new trail will allow riders to avoid a set of stairs making it more enjoyable for both families and experienced riders in the Park.

This will be a very important trail day for the CMBA as it is the first time we will work with the City of Calgary to build new trail. So please come out, show your support, and help us build a trail that Calgarians can enjoy for years to come!

This is less than 100 meters from the parking lot.  We will be walking from the parking lot to the work site.

Be sure to bring/wear the following:

• Good sturdy work boots or hiking boots (no sandals or open toe shoes!)
• Work gloves (though we do have a number of extra if you need them)
• Eye protection (safety or sports sun glasses)
• Jacket that is wet weather resistant (it is July, but it can suddenly start raining or get cold fast)
• Long pants
• Bug spray and sun screen
• Water to drink and a snack to eat

We have plenty of pro-quality tools for everyone to use.

So come on out to our third trail building day of the year, meet some new people (and maybe old friends), have some fun, and help shape the trails that we all love to ride!  We'll see you this Saturday!
