More Details! CMBA 2011 AGM - Nov. 10
Hey-o! The Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance is having its 2011 AGM on Nov. 10 at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Centre. We'll add more details as the date gets closer, but this is a great opportunity to meet and greet your CMBA exec, tell tales of trails and generally reminisce about what a great year of riding and building we've had.
The CMBA team needs to expand, so if you've always wanted to be in on the action, now is your chance.
As the number of trails in the Calgary area increases, CMBA needs more help. To that end, we're looking for a few good folks to lend a hand. Note that this is always a team effort - nobody has to go it alone.
- Fundraising
- 3-person team to develop and execute a fundraising program with the assistance of the rest of the CMBA.
- PR/Marketing
- 3-person team to develop and execute a plan that will increase the profile of Calgary area trails and the CMBA.
- Events
- 3-person team to concentrate solely on events. They will need to come up with a calendar of proposed events by the middle of January - stuff like .
- IT
- Two or more folks needed to keep the lights on and assist other groups with their work. Report to Executive, coordinate with other groups.
- Kananaskis Trail Committee
- The KTC manages our work in K-Country, including trail proposals, maintenance work, trail days, etc. 3-5 people required.
- Equipment Manager
- Keep the gear in good shape and available for trail work, events, etc. Acquire new gear when necessary.
- Recruiting Committee
- 2-3 people dedicated to finding new volunteers.
