Calamity Averted as Drinks Served!

CMBA Double Vision 2011 is in the books! We had a wonderful time, as did the ~150 folks who showed up to watch a couple of great movies and have a few drinks. A huge thanks to the evening's sponsors:
All told, somewhere around $3000 worth of prizes were given away. Here are a few photos from the evening...

^^^ Wait, if you put the wheel on, it won't fit in my car...

^^^ Pretty busy on the mezzanine

^^^ Even the Hills are here!

^^^ Cyclepath crew relaxing after TransRockies 2010

^^^ "I swear I had the winning ticket right here in my hand!"

^^^ New Dakine pack courtesy of Bow Cycle

^^^ Moments after this photo was taken, Mr. No Fun Tan Pants made this fine gentleman get off the bike that he is clearly enjoying. That was kinda mean, brah.

^^^ Table d'Swag

^^^ Discussing trails 'n' such

^^^ This gentleman asked me if one of the shops had donated the KindShock i950-R. I told him that no, this prize was donated by a kind individual.
"Oh, is it one of the distributors?"
No, just someone who really cares about riding and wanted to help the CMBA out.
"Tell 'em thanks from me!"
Will do. Thanks Janet!
SEE YOU ON THE TRAILS!

p.s.: Oh yeah, about the bar not being open... It seems that the bar guy arrived on time at 4:00 p.m., but then the venue's night manager sent him away. Why, I have no idea. I'm sure there's more to the story, but if you were thirsty from 5:00 - 6:30, that's why.
