This group ride is co-ed [ladies AND gentlemen welcome] and no-drop. If you’re coming, we’d appreciate a heads-up: email us at groupride@cmbalink.com to let us know. Read the guidelines before coming out to this ride.
Start Time: 7:00 p.m. departure, so get there around 6:45 to sign in, fill your tires, etc.
Location / Trailhead: West Bragg Creek [click here for map]
Route: Ranger Summit South > Strange Brew > Boundary Ridge
Distance / Time: ~10km / under 2 hours
Description: K-Country singletrack at its finest! Smooth trail, nothing gnarly [no drops/gaps]. There is definitely climbing, but the descent is totally worth it…

Route: Out on Tom Snow, back on Ridgeback. We’ll go up as far as we can!
Distance / Time: ~20km / under 3 hours
Description: Built by riders for riders, Ridgeback is the first major trail project by the CMBA. Tom Snow has been around for ever, and is a fast [albeit muddy] ride. If the group is quick, it will be more fun to take more of Ridgeback out and back.

CMBA Trail Day – Ridgeback
We’ll be working on Ridgeback, probably putting in a short reroute. If we can get the tools out to the site by bike, we might be able to do this as a dig+ride day.
Meet at Station Flats trailhead, just off Hwy 66, ~15km SW of Bragg Creek. Look for the people standing around near the trail entrance with tools in their hands.
The usual recommendations apply for any trail day:
- gloves, a hat
- sunscreen, bug repellent
- sunglasses or some sort of protective eyewear
- closed-toe shoes [flip-flops + sharp tools = pain]
- water, food
- clothes suitable for the weather
- whatever else you think you’ll need
