Trail Building / 24 Hours of Adrenaline, Canmore

Several new members of CMBA attended a trail building workshop in Canmore on July 19, 20 to prepare the course for the upcoming 24 Hours of Adrenaline race on July 26, 27. Thanks to Mark Schmidt, Canadian Director / Trail Specialist (IMBA Canada) for conducting the workshop. Mark will be attending the race and will have IMBA memberships and merchandise available.

Mark will be returning to Calgary in April to help with trail maintenance / building at other parks in the City. Volunteers will be needed for this so stay tuned.

Thanks also to 24hour sports for donating 500.00 to CMBA to help launch our new initiatives in Calgary.

Membership drive / Executives at large

We will be launching a new membership drive this fall to increase the membership base and provide value (and some swag) to those who choose to join the new CMBA. We will also be joining forces with other local groups to get the word out across the city.

We are also looking for a few executives to help with planning, provide input and manage ongoing initiatives. Contact anyone on the board if you want to get involved.
