Road and Pathway Cycling Survey

The City of Calgary is conducting a survey on pathway use and road cycling. The primary focus is on safety and users' perceptions regarding safety while using Calgary's multi-use pathway system or cycling on Calgary's streets. The surveys will solicit opinions about satisfaction regarding the current level of education for pathways users, road cyclists or motorists. Users will also be asked for their feedback regarding issues of enforcement on the pathways system. The City will use this information to improve pathway and cyclist safety.

On October 22, 2005, the public is invited to drop into the Animal Services Centre (2201 Portland Street SE) anytime between 10am - 4pm to complete a Pathways Survey or a Road Cycling Survey. Representatives from pathways, roads and bylaw enforcement will be available during the day to discuss individual issues with concerned citizens.
