We have received a message from the Bow Valley Mountain Bike Alliance [BVMBA] regarding a seasonal closure of the Lake Minnewanka Trail:

Thanks to the broad participation by bikers at the open houses, there are a number of positive trail recommendations that are moving forward from the ROWG group. There are also some disappointments. These recommendations will be presented at an open house in Canmore on June 10 (tentatively at 7pm). We need another big showing at the open house. Please attend and voice your opinion.

The Recreational Opportunities Working Group (ROWG), a sub-committee of the Bow Corrodor Ecosystem Advisory Group (BCEAG) is holding public forums to gather input on recreational opportunities and trail management in the Bow Valley.

The dates are:

• Monday, March 11, 6:30pm at the HUB in Canmore
• Thursday, March 14, 6:30pm at the Exshaw Community Hall
• Saturday, March 16, 10:00am at the Harvie Heights Community Hall
