Up To Here: June So Far
Here’s a quick recap of June thus far:
Spin Sisters Trail Day – June 2
Talk about collaboration! The Spin Sisters working with CMBA on Pneuma, a MMBTS trail. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Becky enthralling the crowd with something. It’s worth mentioning that Sisters kept rolling in all morning – this was just the first group.
This was my group. I haven’t seen any other pictures from that day, so it’s safe to assume that my group were the hardest workers and kicked the most ass. They’re all mellow here, but rest assured that they built trail with the fury of a thousand suns…
BAM! Just like that, they built a berm.
Thanks to the Spin Sisters for coming out en masse and buffing lower Pneuma, building berms and putting in a fresh reroute. Kick ass!
Fish Creek Trail Night – June 11
I only have one picture of the group:
Attractive group! The evening’s project was to close one trail and open up another. Mission accomplished. The new plantings should come in really well, given all the rain we’ve had. It’s worth mentioning that when you’re riding along a bit of singletrack and you encounter people swinging axes and picks hither and thither, you may want to consider dismounting your bicycle instead of just plowing through.
